The Chicago Radiological Society (CRS) is soliciting abstracts for the 2021 Resident Oral Abstract Competition. Due to the current health crisis, we will be conducting this year’s competition a bit differently.
The Purpose of the Resident Competition is to promote the inter-institutional exchange of information and provide and opportunity for residents and fellows to fulfill the scholarly activity requirement of their residency program. Medical students are also welcome to submit applications.
Getting Started – Submit your Abstract Application Online
For the 2021 competition, we are asking that you complete the abstract submission form so we know you will be submitting a presentation for the competition. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for recording and uploading your presentation. The deadline to submit your application is Friday, December 18th
Next, Record and Upload Your Presentation
Please note that your presentations should be no more than 10 slides and your recording should be no more than 5 minutes in length. Once your recording is complete, upload it following the directions in your confirmation email. The deadline to submit your recording is Monday January 4, 2021.
Once all the recordings are received, they will be posted on the CRS website for viewing by the judges as well as colleagues, peers, industry professionals, etc. The judging will be completed by Friday, January 15, 2021. The winners in each of the categories will present their winning presentation during the CRS January Education Session on Thursday, January 21, 2021 beginning at 6:30pm.
